More Margate Bookie blog posts

As part of the marketing and promotion of this year’s Margate Bookie literary festival, I have created two more blog posts about events in the programme.

On Monday, 30 Sep at The Margate School, Kent creative arts organisation MixMatched will host a night on love stories told by neurodiverse people. This will include an interview with novelist Elvin James Mensah, as well as stand up performances from six neurodivergent or disabled comedians.

The following night, 1 Oct, see the Local Writers Showcase take place at The Margate School. Fifteen very different writers from Margate will read from their work. For my blog post on this event, I spoke to the author Zita Whalley about her work-in-progress novel Oh, Australia! Kangaroo. Are You Married? and how she uses unconventional storytelling techniques.
